Charles P. Huntington papers and account books, 1832-1857.

Journal 6, parts I through P (M is missing), Ledger G, and correspondence and legal documents of a Norwich, Connecticut, merchant. The journals indicate Huntington was in a partnership with Robert Campbell. At the back of each journal, written from the other end, are memoranda made by Huntington. The loose papers include a letter to his son Franklin Huntington in 1832 with advice about going to sea and about managing money, probate records, a deed, documents about the dissolution of the partnership of Gilman & Huntington, two incoming business letters and a memo.
